SEO built around searches that can become customers
Rankings matter when the searches behind them have commercial value. We combine technical SEO, content, local search and authority building around the products and services you actually want to sell.

Position one for the wrong phrase is worth nothing
It is straightforward to rank for terms nobody commercially valuable is searching. Plenty of SEO reporting is built on exactly that, a long list of green arrows attached to phrases that never produced an enquiry.
We start from the other end: which searches indicate somebody is actually in the market, what those enquiries are worth, and what it would take to compete for them. Sometimes the answer is that paid search is the better route, and we will say so.
The parts that actually move rankings
Technical SEO
Crawlability, indexation, site speed, structured data and the architecture that determines what Google can understand about your site.
Keyword and competitor research
What people search, what it is worth, and how hard the ground is to take from whoever currently holds it.
Service and location pages
Pages built to rank and to convert, rather than thin variations of the same copy with the town name swapped.
Content
Written by people who understand the subject. Content that answers a real question outperforms content written to hit a word count.
Digital PR and authority
Earning links and mentions from places that carry weight, rather than buying them from places that carry risk.
Local search
Google Business Profile, local landing pages and the signals that decide who appears in the map pack.
Being found when the answer is written for you
A growing share of searches never produce a list of blue links. ChatGPT, Google’s AI overviews and Perplexity answer the question directly, citing a handful of sources.
Generative engine optimisation, GEO, is the work of being one of those sources. In practice it overlaps heavily with good SEO: clear structure, genuine expertise, and content that answers a question rather than circling it. But it changes what you optimise for, and it is measured differently.
We treat it as part of SEO rather than an expensive add-on, because that is what it is becoming.
Organic and paid are better together than apart
Organic search compounds and paid search does not. That is the argument for SEO, and it is a good one over a few years. It is a poor argument for month one, when you need enquiries and the organic work has barely started.
Running paid search alongside gives you enquiries now and, more usefully, data. You learn which terms actually produce customers in weeks rather than waiting months to find out organically, and you build the pages that matter first. Both sit inside our digital marketing work.
SEO is bought in months, not pounds. The first quarter is usually foundation work you cannot see from the outside, which is why a three-month trial rarely tells anybody anything.
What the first six months look like
Audit
Technical, content and competitive. You get the findings whether or not you continue.
Priorities
What to fix first, based on commercial value rather than what is easiest to report.
Foundations
Technical fixes and site architecture. Unglamorous, and the reason later work compounds.
Content and pages
Building the pages that can rank for the searches worth having.
Measure and expand
Search Console data tells us where to go next. We follow the evidence rather than a fixed plan.
What people ask about SEO
How long before we see results?
Technical improvements can show within weeks. Competitive rankings usually take a couple of quarters, and anyone promising faster in a hard market is either lucky or not being straight with you.
Do you guarantee position one?
No, and neither can anyone else. What we will do is tell you honestly whether a term is winnable, roughly what it would take, and whether it is worth the money.
What about AI search and ChatGPT?
Included as part of the work rather than sold separately. The foundations are much the same, clear structure, real expertise, content that answers the question. What differs is how visibility is measured.
Can you work alongside our current agency?
Often, yes. We do technical SEO for businesses whose content or PPC sits elsewhere. What we would want is clarity on who owns what, so nothing gets undone by accident.
Do we need to be in Liverpool to rank in Liverpool?
No. What matters is that the business is genuinely connected to the area, through a real address, a Google Business Profile, reviews from local customers and work you can point to. A serviced office you never visit will not hold a position for long. If you trade in Liverpool without being based here, local SEO is still winnable, it just leans harder on the rest of the signals.
What if we already rank well but get no enquiries?
Then the rankings are on the wrong terms, or the pages behind them are not built to convert. Both are common and both are fixable, and it is usually cheaper than chasing more rankings. We would look at which queries actually bring people in, what those people do when they land, and whether the page answers the question they arrived with.
Do you build links?
We earn them where we can and we buy none. Digital PR, genuine directory and trade listings, supplier and client relationships, and content worth citing. Bought links from a vendor list are the fastest way to acquire a problem that takes longer to undo than it did to create.
